Major airports located about equidistant from Crawford County and very convenient are Piittsburgh International Airport (PA), Cleveland-Hopkins Airport (OH) and Buffalo Niagara International Airport (NY). Public Transportation

Crawford County is served by the Crawford Area Transportation Authority (CATA) whose main office is located on Chestnut Street in Meadville. CATA provides regular fixed routes, a shared ride program for all county residents, a discount shared ride program for eligible county residents, and reduced fee rides for persons with disabilities.

CATA also provides special transportation for college students. The  Night Loop provides transportation to students from downtown Meadville to the Allegheny College campus throughout the school year. Also, initiated in January, 2007, the Edinboro Express will provide Edinboro students with service between the Meadville campus and the main campus in Edinboro.
